Dear Members,
We are delighted to announce the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Gujarati Society of British Columbia-2019 (GSBC-2019), scheduled for Sunday, May 25, 2025. This gathering is an important opportunity for us to reflect on the past year’s achievements, engage with the community, and plan our shared future. We warmly invite all members to attend and participate.

Date: Sunday, May 25, 2025
Time: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Venue: Multi-Purpose Room 1 (Activity Ad)
Bonsor Community Centre

Director Nominations:
We are inviting nominations for the Board of Directors for the upcoming term. Members interested in serving are requested to email their nomination to: [email protected]
Please include the following:
Your resume and details of past volunteering experience
Proof of current GSBC membership
(Become a member or renew at: https://gsbc.ca)Completed Undertaking Form for Nomination (attached to this notice)
If you are a returning board member also provide an elaborate statement of your contribution and activities/events/programs managed or supported.
- The nominations along with all the documents must be submitted before 21 May to the Nomination Committee.
- A member can also be nominated during the meeting, the nominee must have all these documents ready to provide them to the Nomination Committee.
- There will be a mid term review of the Director’s Performance by the current Nomination Committee and a director may be disqualified and removed from his position, if the Nomination Committee finds him incompetent.
Please note: Selection to the board is at the sole discretion of the Nomination Committee.
